Originally from Starkville, Mississippi, Lawrence graduated from Mississippi State University with a BFA degree, with an emphasis in graphic design. After relocating to Durham, NC, he has pursued the visual arts in several different ways, designing for various media: tee-shirts, identity packages, signage, advertising, packaging, collateral, book covers, web sites, catalogs, etc. He is currently designing for Living in Style, skirt! and Carolina Bride magazines with the Niche Publications division of The News & Observer, in Raleigh, NC.
